- Peanut/Nut Aware
- We have several school community members who have severe allergies to nut products. We ask that all families refrain from sending any nut products to school.
- Scent/Chemical Aware
- Scented products have the potential to impact the health of individuals. We usually think of scents as the aroma or odours from cosmetics such as perfume, shampoo, deodorant, body spray or from other products, however, the issue with scented products is not as much the scent as it is the chemicalsthat produce the smell.
- Chemicals found in scented products can trigger serious health reactions in people with asthma, bronchitis, migraines, allergies or chemical sensitivities. Please be considerate to others by not wearing scented products. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the air we share healthy and chemical free.
